Tuesday and Wednesday this week turned out to be good days of catching up on sleep and proper eating habits. Tuesday’s recovery run was followed up by the CFE WOD of:
Every min for 12min perform 1 front squat @ 70% 1RM. While I must sheepishly say I do not have a tested 1RM FS, I made a very low guess of around 250, leaving my front squat for the WOD @ 185. Looking back, it was too easy but still gave me the opportunity to lift something heavy. This was followed up by 3 rounds of 5 clapping pushups, 7 KB snatches, and 10 knee to elbows.
Wednesday was 8x 200m w/ 200m jog recovery on a very windy track. All of them were at 27 with the last one dipping just below. Evening session included 100 pushups and 100 situps.
Today (Thursday) morning session consisted of another CFE WOD:
5 rounds of:
10 bent over rows (#75)
10 hang power snatches (#75)
10 toes to bar
Evening session will be a light recovery run and strides. Tomorrow the big guns come out…I’m already stoked.
